Recommended database – JSTOR

JSTOR is a searchable archive of full text journals. Subject areas covered in JSTOR include archaeology, art and art history, performing arts, history, geography, education, philosophy, politics, statistics, literature, mathematics, economics, finance, music, anthropology, history of science and technology, Asian studies, and sociology.

It’s important to remember that JSTOR is an archive of journal backfiles. JSTOR does not contain the current issues of these journal titles. JSTOR is a great source for older articles and historical perspectives on a huge range of different topics. It’s a really valuable tool for researchers. CSU students and staff have access to 500 full text titles. Here is a sample of some of the available titles:
