Problems with EBSCO database

A number of students have reported that when using EBSCO a message pops up that says
“We have detected a change to your IP Address for the current session and we are unable to locate a valid EBSCO cookie. As a result we are unable to identify you as a legitimate user. Please log in again ”

The Library team has been working relentlessly on this problem and have identified a possible solution. This involves updating the software that we use to enable database access to all DE students. This update will occur early tomorrow morning.

EBSCO is not the Library’s only database. Factiva for example is a great source for commerce full text articles. Jstor, Cambridge, Oxford and Informit are good for Humanities and Social Sciences.

Don’t forget that you can ask the Library team for assistance in finding articles for your assignment if you experience problems accessing resources. Simply log on to ‘Ask a Question’ and complete the request form. The Library team will search on your behalf, scan relevant resources and email them to you.
