electronic books in the CSU Library

CSU Library has just acquired a collection of 180+ electronic books from James Bennett suppliers. These electronic books cover a large range of subjects including economics, commerce, nursing, education, journalism, history, health, archaeology, maths, politics, social welfare, religion, tourism, performing arts, management, accounting, psychology, South East Asia and philosophy.

A full listing of the James Bennett titles is currently available on the Library’s web site http://www.csu.edu.au/division/library/ under the link ‘electronic books’.

All electronic books are catalogued. New titles are regularly added to the collection. The Library catalogue is the best way to locate electronic titles.

1) To locate all of CSU’s electronic books – In Basic search select call number keyword from the keyword drop down menu and type in electronic book.

2) To locate electronic books on a particular subject use Advanced search (select from top menu on catalogue screen). In the first dialog box select call number keyword and type in electronic book. In the second dialog box type in your search term (keyword, author, title, etc). Additional search terms can be entered into the third dialog box. For example: electronic book + mental health (keyword) + australia (keyword) will retrieve any electronic books about mental health in Australia.
