New Journal Database Trial

The Library is trialling a great new journal database that will be of interest to library, information management, and technology staff and students – “Library, Information Science & Technology Abstracts with Full Text”. Library, Information Science & Technology Abstracts with Full Text indexes more than 500 core journals and includes the full text for more than 240 journals and nearly a dozen monographs. Subject coverage includes librarianship, classification, cataloging, bibliometrics, online information retrieval, information management and more. Coverage in the database extends back as far as the mid-1960s. Library, Information Science & Technology Abstracts with Full Text is on trial until September 7 2008 and can be accessed from the Trial Journal Databases page on the Library website. Your input is extremely important during the trial period, and will help us decide whether to permanently add this resource to the collection – any suggestions or comments can be made using this form.
