Best of Booker prize announced

Earlier this year we mentioned that in celebration of the 40th anniversary of The Booker Prize, a special one-off award had been announced, with six authors in the running to win the title of The Best of the Booker – you’ll find that post here.
Now, the winner has been announced: Salman Rushdie’s Midnight’s Children has been officially announced the winner of the 40-year Best of the Booker Prize. If you’d like to read this book for yourself, the Library has a number of copies available for Library users to borrow – just follow this link to request a loan.
