The Periodic Table of Videos

Tables charting the chemical elements have been around since the 19th century – but this modern version has a short video about each one.

“All 118 elements of the periodic table, from hydrogen to lawrencium, are being brought to life in a series of YouTube videos filmed at a British university. “The lively clips are intended to bring chemistry to generations of students turned off the subject by the rote learning of elements at school. “Each element of the table will have its own video, in which its properties are described by a member of the University of Nottingham’s chemistry faculty.
