Get ready for next session!

Are you ready for next session? A big welcome to all new students and our returners! To help you feel more prepared, here in the Library we’re kicking off Session 60 with Online Library Workshops.

Remember, you don’t need to wait for a workshop; we’re here to help anytime. Visit your nearest campus, contact us via the Library chat, call, send us an email, or book an appointment.

So, is a Library workshop right for you? For our newbies, we have our popular introductory session, Online Library 101. It’s a quick tour of the library website and an overview of how we can help you throughout your study journey – perfect to squeeze into your lunch break, you only need 30 minutes to join Online Library 101!

For our returners, or more experienced students, our Discover EndNote session might be the right pick! If you’ve got a handle on referencing and APA7, EndNote is a great option to help you manage your sources and citations. Take a look at our EndNote modules first to decide if this is the right workshop for you.

Our live workshops for this session kick off on Monday 1st July at 1pm, with Online Library 101, with three additional sessions run over Orientation and Week 1 of session.

We also have numerous other Workshops that cover all the essential library and research skills, and they’re available online, anytime to all students. Here’s the full list of what’s on offer:

  • Online Library 101
  • Using eBooks
  • Finding Journal Articles
  • Using Library Databases
  • Advanced Database Searching
  • Discover EndNote

You can register for a live session now or view recordings of past workshops on our website.

Need more reasons to attend? Here’s what past attendees have said:

“Basic, easy to understand info and facts to get started. Brilliant.”

“Knowing I can reach out to the Library staff if I get stuck any time gives me confidence.”

“The processes were clearly explained and the services available too are amazing. I feel the library and all the online elements seem a little less daunting after this.”
