The Library Client Satisfaction survey ran 2-15 September 2024, and was an opportunity for our Library users (that’s you!) to tell us what you think of our services, facilities, resources and support.
The survey received 1,561 responses and provided the Library with invaluable feedback to help us improve further. Thank you for taking the time to share this with us.
Here’s a snapshot of what you told us.
- Nearly half of the respondents (46.55%) were from the Faculty of Science and Health, followed by the Faculty of Arts and Education (35.36%).
- The majority of respondents (67.07%) were either completely or mostly online users of the Library.
- 91.47% of respondents where either undergraduate students (66%) or postgraduate students (25.47%)
- Of our physical spaces, the majority of respondents mostly use the Wagga Wagga (14.3%), Port Macquarie (8.8%) and Bathurst (8.5%) libraries. The majority of respondents use the library online (55.3%).
You shared that the Library’s top strengths were the following three areas:
- Staff. Library staff provide timely, accurate assistance when you needed it.
- Online resources. Comprehensive, accessible online resources are important to your academic success.
- Facilities and equipment. You value access to reliable Wi-Fi and comfortable study environments, especially the provision of free food (a SSAF-funded initiative).
You would like to see us improve in the following areas:
- Communication. We’ll improve awareness of our services through enhanced digital communication.
- Website navigation. We’ll improve navigation & mobile functionality.
- Study space availability. You would like additional group study spaces and quiet areas, especially during peak periods.
Thanks again for your feedback!
