A big thank you to everyone who supported the Library’s Great Book Swap this year. Together, we raised $1,700 for the Indigenous Literacy Foundation and exceeded our $1,500 goal.
Since 2017, the Library has raised over $10,000, helping provide books and learning resources to children and families in remote Indigenous communities. This work supports the University’s commitment to equity and access.
It was also wonderful to share this experience with so many online students visiting our campuses for Intensive Schools, and helping them feel connected to our community while on-campus.

Book donations for 2026 are welcome all year round. Drop your books into your campus Library and they’ll be set aside for the next swap. Donations should be in good condition, non-textbook and suitable for a broad audience.
The success of this year’s event shows what we can achieve when staff, students, and community come together. If you’d like to partner with us in 2026 to elevate our reach and impact even further, please get in touch – we’d love to collaborate.
Thank you again for your generosity and support.
