This year EBSCO introduced a new user interface for their products. The update includes a refreshed layout, navigation, and new tools for managing saved searches and projects.
During the transition, a temporary “Classic Folder” link was provided so users could continue accessing their saved searches, alerts, and other folder content on the old interface. Access to this folder will be removed on 1 December 2025.
The good news is that now that key features have been released in the new EBSCO interface, you can manage all your saved content directly within the updated platform:
Download your classic folder content:
You can also download a copy of your classic folder content to Excel via the new EBSCO interface. Please note that this function will be removed on 30 December 2025.
Go to My Dashboard > Projects (after logging in to your MyEBSCO account),
or view a step-by-step guide on downloading your report here.
Saved searches automatically synced:
Your saved searches from the classic folders should now appear in the Saved section on your new EBSCO dashboard and under the Searches tab.
If you don’t see them, please let us know.
Editing saved searches:
Saved searches can be edited within the new interface. However, for combined searches, you’ll need to rerun the search and edit each line individually under Recent Activity.
Watch a short video on how to edit saved searches here.
Act now! Jump in and save a copy of your report before the end of the year. If you have any questions, please contact your Faculty Librarian.
