October is Mental Health Month across Australia! This awareness month encourages all of us to think about our mental health and wellbeing, regardless of whether you have life experience with mental health or not. This month also gives us the opportunity to understand the importance of mental health in our everyday lives and to seek help, if needed.
In today’s society, most of us face increasing commitments. Unfortunately, this can mean our mental health becomes less of a priority. The theme for Mental Health Month this year is to prioritise our mental health and well-being; just as much as we would maintain our physical and social health.
Our CSU Student Counselling team help students to overcome barriers to succeed in their studies. The friendly qualified team offer workshops and confidential individual appointments for personal or University difficulties. All students (studying on campus or online) can access free and confidential counselling on CSU Campuses, via phone, Skype or email.
