New database – TimeBase – for historical Australian legislation

Do you need historical versions of Australian legislation? Do you need
to compare old and new legislative provisions? CSU Library now
subscribes to TimeBase, an Australian package of full-text legislation
and legal research tools.

In TimeBase, you can access full-text legislation including amending, subordinate, and repealed legislation, Bills, Explanatory Memoranda and Second Reading Speeches, along with detailed legislative histories. Links are provided to cases which interpret sections of Acts or Regulations.

The historical versions of legislation are available through the Point-in-Time products in the following subject areas:
