On March 8th International Women’s Day will be celebrated globally. International Women’s Day is organised to bring attention to women’s rights and gender equality, and to mobilise people to achieve this. This is about envisioning ” a world where each woman and girl can exercise her choices, such as participating in politics, getting an education, having an income, and living in societies free from violence and discrimination”.
