Then you need our Online Library Workshops!

What are these workshops?

Our Online Library Workshops are for all students, studying by distance or on campus. Workshops are conducted over the internet and run for one hour. You will need to pre-book to ensure you receive your email detailing how to join the workshop.

Workshops will be held on the following topics:

Introduction to Library Services, Thursday 9th July & Tuesday14th July

You’ve spotted the words “journal article” and “peer reviewed” in your subject outline. What do these things mean, and how do you find them?

Getting Started with Endnote (PC users), Tuesday 21st July

Take the pain out of referencing and get better marks for your assessments by learning how to use EndNote. Designed for students who have never used EndNote, will have you up and running in no time.

Getting more out of Endnote (PC users), Thursday 23rd July

Are you getting the most out of EndNote? More than just a referencing tool, EndNote is also invaluable for organising and managing your references, saving you valuable time and effort. This workshop builds upon the basics covered in Getting started with Endnote (PC users).

Getting Started with Endnote (Mac users), Tuesday 28th July

This session is designed for students who have never used EndNote and who use a Mac, will have you up and running with EndNote in no time.
