What are these workshops?
Our Online Library Workshops are for all students, studying by distance or on campus. Workshops are conducted over the Internet and run for one hour. You will need to pre-book to ensure you receive your email detailing how to join the workshop.

Learn to Connect: Developing your Personal Learning Network (PLN), December 10th
In this workshop you will learn how to create and maintain an online presence to help you keep up to date with your particular field of study. Registering for alerts, creating an online presence and communicating through Twitter, Feedly, and LinkedIn will be covered.
Learn to Connect: Managing your Online Information, December 15th
Now you have created a professional online presence and are receiving alerts you need to be able to mange alerts, updates and feeds. This workshop demonstrates the Evernote and OneNote applications and how they can be used to manage information. how to migrate browser preferences between computers and the legality and copyright concerns of re-using online materials.
Using eBooks, December 17th
Ebooks can be a great alternative to print books, for both off-campus and on-campus students. Learn how to access and use the Library’s extensive and growing collection of eBooks in this workshop
