Faculty of Business, Justice and Behavioural Sciences L&T Symposium

CSU’s first Business, Justice and Behavioural Sciences Learning and Teaching Symposium was held on the 6th and 7th of April at the Bathurst campus. It was a unique opportunity for academics from across the new Faculty to network with key partners, as well as showcasing the brand new CSU Engineering building. The symposium also provided opportunities for staff to build on their own learning and teaching expertise and showcase the learning and teaching excellence of colleagues.

The Library presented two workshops on streaming videos and eBooks for teaching. Participants had the opportunity to search and embed materials in Interact2, with help being given by our Information Librarians and Collection Services staff. Our friendly Librarians were also on hand at our Library display to answer questions, and 6 lucky people won fantastic prizes that were supplied by one of our journal subscription suppliers, Wolters Kluwer.

If you attended the Symposium and would like further help from Library staff, induction sessions, training and support for academic staff, researchers and HDR students are available, and are conducted by Faculty Liaison Staff. Support can be delivered individually or to small groups, in your workplace, remotely via teleconference or Skype, or using the CSU Online Meeting tool.
