Australian Podiatry Association runs Foot Health Week, it’s an annual campaign to promote foot health and encourages better health outcomes for all Australians. The national theme is ‘Pods get you …moving, pain free and living a fuller life!’.
As feet contain 25% of the bones in the entire body, they become extremely vulnerable to injury and disease that can affect the entire body, limiting movement and quality of life. Podiatrist are foot expects and can help kids, athletes, the chronically ill and older Australians enjoy better lives and healthy feet.
