The State Library of New South Wales has announced the launch of ‘two multi-million dollar projects which will provide unprecedented, worldwide access’ to the state’s and nation’s ‘most iconic and historically significant documents and objects’.
The Library’s unrivalled collections comprise the world’s foremost archive on European exploration and settlement of Australia and the Pacific, and the Indigenous peoples of those regions.
The NSW Government will contribute to a major digitisation program and an enhancement to the State Library’s collections and services.
Some of the State Library’s services are available without a library card but if you sign up for a library card you can access all of their services and collections.
