‘Search@CSU Library’ directly from the Library home page

The ‘Quick Catalogue Search’ available from the Library home page will be replaced this week with the new ‘Search@CSU Library‘ service. The original catalogue search will still be available via a link displayed below the ‘Search@CSU Library’ service, and from the Find information menu.

Search@CSU Library enables CSU staff and students to search simultaneously for local and remote resources: books, journals, journal articles, and digital resources, e.g. CSU Research Output (CRO), CSU digital theses. Search@CSU Library is a simple, intuitive search tool with more advanced search functions available if required.

Search@CSU Library (beta) has been introduced as an alternative to the current Library catalogue and SmartSearch. The Library is seeking user feedback during this soft launch, with the aim of replacing the catalogue and SmartSearch with Search@CSU Library later in 2011. The current Library databases will be retained.

Your feedback about this beta version of Search@CSU Library will help us improve this new service – fill in our feedback form and tell us what you think of Search@CSU Library.
