National Reconciliation Week is held annually from 27 May to 3
June, and is a time to celebrate and build on the respectful
relationships shared by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and other
Australians.
For 2012, Reconciliation Australia
is inviting everyone to join the
reconciliation conversation and reflect on our shared histories, contributions
and achievements.
The website has a great collection of resources designed
to get Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians involved. You can:
- Learn about reconciliation
- View the range of current projects
- Test your knowledge with some of the quizzes
- Change your assumptions with Mythbusters
- Find a list of Indigenous themed films and music
Your CSU Library has a great collection of books and films on Indigenous Australian history and culture. Check out the following blog postings for lists of these holdings.
