The 11-17th of August is Brain Injury Awareness Week. Brain Injury is common. Over 600,000 Australians have an acquired brain injury (with 3 out of 4 of them aged under 65 yrs). As many as 2 out of every 3 of these people acquired their brain injury before they turned 25. 3 out of every 4 people with acquired brain injury are men.
