Going on a Workplace Learning experience?

Are you about to go on Workplace Learning for your course? Did you know there are special borrowing arrangements for you.

Workplace learning allows students to learn through direct implementation of their professional roles in real workplace settings.

Before leaving for your Workplace Learning experience you can:

  • Borrow items such as AV material, kits, DVDs and books for the length of your Workplace Learning
  • Borrow items up to one week prior to leaving your campus.
While you are on Workplace Learning you can:
  • Request items such as AV material, kits, DVDs and books, scanned book chapters and journal articles
  • Receive your requested items from the Library via Australia Post for free (within Australia)
  • Submit your requests using the Workplace Learning Form.
And, if you are working near another university library you may be able to join that library as a reciprocal borrower and/or use their library collection and facilities such as photocopy or scanning.
Check if the university is a participant of the ULANZ national borrowing scheme.

If you need to know more, you can Ask a Librarian or check out all the details at: Library access for students on Workplace Learning.
