CSU Wagga Library Staff help fight cancer!

In early June the Library team at CSU Wagga were part of
Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea.

Wagga Library staff raised $122.10 to contribute to Cancer Council for research, support services, advocacy and prevention programs.  They also raised awareness: awareness of the 1 in 2 Australian men and 1 in 3 Australian women who will be diagnosed with cancer by the age of 85; and awareness of the over 61,000 deaths that were averted between 1987
and 2007 due to research into cancer prevention, treatment and management.
This could not happen
without all those people – like our team at Wagga – who come
together to support the fight against cancer.

Well done Wagga!
