Everything EndNote

Just in time to help with your assessments for Session 3, the Library will be running Online Library Workshops introducing EndNote. EndNote is a bibliographic software package to help manage references and automatically inserts citations and references into word documents.

EndNote is compatible with both Macs and PCs and is free to download for CSU staff and students. We have four different workshops coming up to help you successfully maneuver your way through EndNote:

Getting started with EndNote:
• Create an EndNote Library
• Add and edit references
• Import references from Primo Search and databases
• Construct a bibliography

EndNote for Mac – All the above, plus:
• Attach PDFs to references and annotate PDFs
• Create, manage, and use groups within your EndNote Library
• Use Cite While You Write to insert & manage citations/reference list entries.

Getting more out of EndNote:
• For PC users – Import references from Informit, OVID & Google Scholar
• Attach and annotate PDFs
• Create, manage, and use groups within your EndNote Library
• Use Cite While You Write

This Session we have an exciting new work shop running, called EndNote in an hour! This covers all the information in the Getting started with, and Getting more out of Endnote workshops – all in 1 hour.

These workshops are free, and usually run for one hour. They are for all students, so whether you’re an online or on campus student, you can join in from anywhere. All you will need is a mobile device or desktop computer and a good internet connection. Please register before the workshop, to ensure you receive your email detailing how to join the class.

If you have any trouble registering for these workshops, please Contact Us for help from one of your Librarians. Hope to see you there!

We also have an EndNote Resource Guide that answers commonly asked questions, and steps you though the process of setting up your EndNote library. This guide also covers inserting citations and references correctly.
