Clarivate Analytics announced the release of EndNote X9 in August 2018. CSU Library and the Division of Information Technology (DIT) will undertake QA testing of EndNote X9 in the CSU environment before making it available for use by staff and students.
If you are using EndNote on your personal computer, you may see a pop-up window promoting EndNote X9 when you launch the application. You can select the Ignore This option to prevent the pop-up from reappearing.
The release notes for EndNote X9 suggest that most of the improvements in the update are associated with collaboration, library sharing, integration with the Web of Science database, new social media reference types and updates to some standard referencing output styles.
The current EndNote X8.2 version supported at CSU, is compatible with the latest version(s) of Microsoft Word.
