UPDATED – Using ScienceDirect during current service disruption

Access to ScienceDirect through the CSU Library is now restored! Please contact us at the Library if you have any questions, or continue to experience any issues using ScienceDirect.


Please access ScienceDirect following these steps:

  • Go to the ScienceDirect website
  • Click on the Sign In option at the top right hand corner of the page
  • Under Sign in via your institution, click on Other Institution
  • Type Charles Sturt University into the  Search for your institution box, then select our name when it appears
  • Log in to CSU if you are prompted
  • Accept the default setting that is displayed on the Information Release page
  • If asked to Choose Organisation, both the Campus IP or Shibboleth option will work
