Looking at finding the best options for publishing and identifying the most reputable and appropriate publishers? For the month of December we are in the ‘Plan & Fund’ and the ‘Publish & Disseminate’ phases of the research cycle, and we’ll cover these off with our Ready to Publish series. We’re also going to show you how to present your metrics in the best light for grants and promotions.

Ready to publish: Choosing where to publish.

Almost ready to publish and want to know how to choose the best option for you and your work?  We’ll show you tips, tricks and resources, including metrics and how to identify reputable publishers. Wednesday 9th December 2-3pm.

Ready to publish: What about Open Access?

Want to consider using an Open Access option for your publishing?  We will show you how to locate what is available, explain Open Access and what it is and how to identify reputable publishers, with added information on sharing resources. Thursday 10th December 2-3pm.

Presenting research metrics for grants and promotion.

Are you looking to complete a grant application or application for promotion and want information about how to present your research impact? This session will show you how. Learn more about engaging with metrics to get the best possible outcome for your grant application or promotion. Tuesday 15th December 9:30-10:30am.

Authorship and Copyright for a thesis and other publications.

Are you planning to include journal articles that you have written during your candidature, in your thesis? Are you planning to publish further works from your thesis?  This information session will support you to apply the appropriate copyright, Intellectual Property, Open Access and Creative Commons guidelines to your research outputs. Wednesday 16th December 9:30-10:30am.
