Open Access Publishing Agreements Renewed for 2025!

We’re thrilled to share some news about our Open Access Publishing Agreements. All of our existing agreements from 2024 have successfully rolled over, AND we’ve secured an exciting new agreement with Emerald for 2025.

Quick highlights:

  • All 2024 agreements have been renewed
  • New Emerald agreement secured for 2025
  • Seamless continuation of Open Access publishing support
  • Zero cost Article Processing Charges (APCs) to researchers for eligible publications (though other charges may apply)

What does this mean for you? You can continue publishing your research with complete confidence, knowing that our Open Access Publishing Agreements are fully in place, covering your transactional APCs- don’t forget that not all journals by a publisher are covered and their may be other charges you will have to fund. The smooth continuation of these agreements ensures there won’t be any interruption in your publishing activities.

We currently have 11 agreements in place with leading publishers including the American Psychological AssociationSAGEElsevierSpringer Nature and Taylor & Francis, ensuring broad coverage across different research areas and journals. Our new agreement with Emerald further expands these opportunities. To see details on all of our current agreements please refer to the Open Access LibGuide.

If you have any questions about our Open Access publishing agreements or would like to learn more about them, please refer to the  LibGuide  or contact the library.
