From 1st July 2026, Primo Search will have a fresh new look, with updated search scopes, filters, citation tools and navigation.
If you use Primo Search to find journal articles, ebooks, print books, videos and other resources, you’ll notice a few changes when the new version arrives. Don’t worry, everything you need is still there. It will just look a little different!
What’s changing?
The updated Primo Search interface has been designed to make finding, requesting and accessing resources easier.

You’ll notice changes to things like:
- how search results are displayed
- where filters and limiters are located
- citation and export options
- permalinks and sharing features
- the overall look and feel of the search page
What isn’t changing?
The good news is that you’ll still be able to:
- search the Library’s collections to find resources for subjects and assignments
- access books, eBooks, journal articles, videos and databases
- save and manage your searches
- share and bookmark resources
We’re looking forward to bringing you an improved search experience and helping you make the most of it!
Contact us at the library if you have any questions or need assistance during the transition.
