We need your help: Wagga Hack for Good, November 27 & 28

As part of the national ‘Social Inclusion Week’, CSU is joining forces with Wagga City Council, Intersect Australia and Murrumbidgee Family and Community Services as well as many other others on November 27th and 28th to run our first community hackathon.

This hackathon will focus on creating a ‘networking’ solution to assist youth with little access to ways to meet people in the community. The hackathon will be assisted by the awesome people at Random Hacks of Kindness (RHoK) and will involve some surprise ‘random’ things happening, prizes (cash and goods), food, drink and music.

However, volunteers are needed to make this happen, namely interviewers, event coordinators and helpers on the day, a communications coordinator, and of course hackers, developers, App designers and ideas people.

The hackathon will be held in the CSU Learning Commons computer lab at Wagga (W-13-1021), Friday November 27th and Saturday November 28th, 9am until whenever on each day.
A wrap up barbecue and prizes will be awarded at 6pm Saturday 28th.
