Jeans for Genes Day, August 5th

Today is Jeans for Genes Day. Every year we wear jeans and denim and donate money to support genetic research and childhood disease on the first Friday in August.

Every dollar donated for Genes for Jeans Day, goes to the Children’s Medical Research Institute, who use the money to research treatments and preventatives for childhood cancer, epilepsy, birth defects and genetic diseases. One in twenty children are born with a genetic disease or birth defect and need all the help possible to live a long and healthy life.
