A new look is coming to the Readings and Resources lists User Interface (UI) in 202490. You can preview the new interface for yourself before we make the switch in November.
Steps:
- Log into Resource Lists
- In the browser, modify the URL to change “readinglist” to “nui”
Before: /leganto/readinglist/lists
After: /leganto/nui/lists
Our library team has been working closely with the vendor to provide feedback and conduct comprehensive testing to ensure a smooth transition to the new UI.
Key Design Enhancements:
- Improved usability, particularly on smaller devices like laptops.
- A refreshed design that integrates more seamlessly with Brightspace.
- Focused improvements on key tasks for educators and streamlined access to resources for students.
Support for Educators:
- Faculty Librarians are available to answer any questions regarding functionality or workflow, and to gather your feedback on the new interface.
- We have created a comprehensive guide to help you navigate common tasks, plan your timelines, and find tips for boosting student engagement with your lists.
A list of anticipated Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) will also be available to help you quickly find answers related to the new Readings and Resources (Leganto) UI.
