This Wednesday, 22 July, we celebrate Foundation Day, 2015. Foundation Day started 19 July 1989 with the signing of the Charles Sturt University Act. Act No. 76, 1989, brought together a number of established regional institutions and their libraries, long after the original 1895 Experiment Farms at Wagga Wagga and Bathurst.

Forget that archeological dig!
The Charles Sturt community now includes campuses and libraries at Port Macquarie, Bathurst, Orange, Dubbo, Wagga Wagga, Albury, Goulburn, and partner institutions across New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory. The historic print collections are constantly renewed with online collections and your Library is available 24/7. Today CSU is a multi campus, multicultural institution, proud of its distance education record and contribution to regional NSW. See how we have changed over our 25 years.
