Children’s Book Week – 16 – 22 August 2014.
Connect to Reading – Reading to Connect. An interesting concept or a clever marketing tool?
This year’s Children’s Book Week artwork has been created by Ron Brooks, winner of the 2013 Picture Book of the Year Award.
Shaun Tan, the 2014 winner of the Picture Book of the Year – Rules of Summer – will create the artwork next year.
Connect to Reading is about enjoying the experience of exploring story, and travelling to other worlds.
Visit the Library in the Nowik Learning Commons on Albury-Wodonga Campus and check out the children’s book display. Staff show great enthusiasm in creating these spaces. Take some time to browse this Collection. What are your thoughts on those books selected?
